An annoyed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah heading to governor of Indian administered Kashmir to offer his resignation, which later turned out to be conditional. Abdullah offered to resign after opposition Peoples Democratic Party leader Muzaffar Hussain Baig told the Kashmir legislative assembly that Abdullah’s name figures in an infamous Kashmir sex scandal, which involved many politicians, and civil and police officials of the state. The resignation was declined by the governor N N Vohra, after the CBI said Abdullah’s name did not figure in the sex scandal.
