Activists of the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Peoples Movement hold a protest demonstration in Srinagar Wednesday against the state goverment's proposed plans to lease out prime land in the tourist resort Gulmarg to non state subjects. There have been many protests in Kashmir over the proposed lease which people fear may pave way for the control of Kashmir's Tourism Industry  by non locals. Jammu and Kashmir Tourism minister Dilawar Mir Tuesday denied that there were any plans to lease out land to non-state subjects.
