Indian troopers take position near the body of a Himalayan Black Bear at a stream in Shopian, south of Srinagar, summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir. Indian army on November 02, 2009 had claimed that the bear had attacked a group of four well armed militants, killing two and injuring one. Remaining one escaped unhurt. Militants denied the claim and accused army of attacking and killing them. Surprisingly the army later gunned down the bear without offering any explanation. / Kashmir Newz Picture November 10, 2009: Indian troopers take position near the body of a Himalayan Black Bear at a stream in Shopian, south of Srinagar, summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir.
